Six courthouses across Los Angeles County opened their doors Friday following extended closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Per the L.A. Superior Court, courthouses that have opened are:
- The Governor George Deukmejan Courthouse;
- The Hollywood Courthouse;
- The Inglewood Juvenile Courthouse;
- The Stanley Mosk Courthouse; and
- The Pasadena Courthouse
The county Superior Court system partially resumed operations in late March for what was called “essential and emergency” functions during the pandemic outbreak. Nonetheless, until Friday, all criminal and civil jury and non-jury trials were put on hold.
