Oahu state district courts will restart some courtroom activities this week, according to the Hawaii Judiciary. Activities deemed “official court business”, such as business and court proceedings with the traffic Violations Bureau and the Legal Documents Branch, specifically Kauikeaouli Hale, Ewa District Court, Kaneohe District Court, Wahiawa District Court and Waianae District Court, are allowed to resume. Social distancing measures recommended by the state and federal government will be in place to safeguard court visitors and staff.
Face coverings must be required for those who enter any courthouses. People who have a cough, fever, or any other respiratory symptoms will not be allowed entry. Those who have traveled in the past 14 days or had prolonged contact with people suspected to have the coronavirus are not to be let into courthouses.
